SIX UNMISSABLE WAYS TO BE ENTERTAINED THIS DUBAI SHOPPING FESTIVAL

This December sees the return of Dubai Shopping Festival and along with it, some dazzling entertainment

The 27^th edition of Dubai Shopping Festival returns from 15 December to 30 January, offering a packed list of entertainment, shopping deals, delicious dining options and prizes to be won. Looking for something to keep the whole family entertained? Here are some of the best free outdoor shows that will be on offer throughout the festival.

Dubai Lights

Across six locations in Dubai there will be six unique interactive art installations from international lighting artists under the newly created ‘Dubai Lights’ initiative. Festival goers can watch out for ‘City Gazing Dubai’ by VOUW at DIFC Gate Avenue, a tailor-made installation based on Dubai, with a unique soundtrack and see other amazing works of art at The Pointe, La Mer and Last Exit, Al Khawaneej.

Spectacular Light Installations at Al Seef
As part of DSF, Al Hai will showcase a series of innovative and sustainable art installations in the Al Seef area of the city. Visitors will be able enjoy an enthralling exploration of light and imagination as they stroll around the popular area.

 TunesDXB
Another exciting addition to the Dubai Shopping Festival calendar this year is TunesDXB, featuring three days of live music and entertainment at 15 locations across the city. With the main stage at La Mer, TunesDXB will present local talent, community events and concerts – including America’s Got Talent singing sensation, 10 year old Peter Rosalita, which also coincide with concerts by some of the Arab world’s leading superstars.

DSF Drone Shows

The DSF Drone Show is back with more innovative features to provide technology-driven entertainment experiences for the whole family. This DSF, the daily drone shows will also take place at the new global attraction Ain Dubai.

 DSF Fireworks Nights, presented by Al Zarooni Group

Fireworks displays are a longstanding feature of the annual Dubai Shopping Festival and will be back with a bang, providing residents and visitors the opportunity to watch the astonishing spectacle of pyrotechnics from vantage points in the city daily.

 Augmented reality experiences
The festival will provide residents and visitors the opportunity to enjoy virtual and augmented reality experiences throughout the festival. To take part, you just have to point your cameras at QR codes on special ‘totems’ across the city for the doors to open to a new world of excitement; bringing the imagination alive through window displays, on stage concerts and more.
