Soar Through the Clouds of the Impossible, Until You Reach the Possible.
I’ve decided that 2024 is going to be the year of magic. It’s going to be the year where I’m going to grab my dreams and make them reality.
Dreams are a wonderful thing to have, the thought of them makes you tingle and smile. But here’s the downside. If you have dreams and you don’t do anything about them except things about them, the likelihood of them coming to fruition are pretty slim.
When that happens, it’s not only devastating but it’s crippling; and has the power to drag you backwards. Many would say that’s where the power of manifestation comes in, and that’s a great tool, but it’s only part of the process.
Manifestation ultimately is a tool of focus; and focus becomes your reality. But you still have to make a conscious effort to create a path between where you are and where you want to be.
It’s like saying you want a new job, clearly visualizing what that job would look like, manifesting it, putting it out into the universe and then sitting at home watching Netflix and expecting it to come knocking at your door. Well let’s face it, that’s not really going to happen now is it?
Achieving your dreams in life is a journey, one with ups and downs and roundabouts; but if you can break it down into goals, milestones, consistent action and the right mindset, what you can create is infinite.
The question always remains, how badly do you want it and is this really what you want.
I always tell event management students, you are only as good as the brief you are given, so make sure you have a clear brief.
And I say the same to you now when it comes to achieving your dreams; make sure you have a clear brief and write it down.
You gotta dig deep and be sure what you are telling yourself is your dream is exactly that, YOURS, and not anyone else’s.
Check your intention and make sure you have clarity on your purpose because these will form the foundations that your dreams will be built on. Never build anything of shaky foundations, we’ve all seen the outcome of that.
Over the years I have achieved many of my dreams and achieved many of my goals but now I’ve decided it’s time to work on my ultimate dream, which is to support underprivileged children around the world. I want to create a program that empowers them to change their own lives; it’s not just about giving charity.
I’m still working on the dream brief and am probably on my final draft now. It’s taken time to develop but I know I’m close, because I can feel the tingles and I’m getting excited about it.
I can’t wait to move to the next phase and start planning the journey between where I am now, where I want to be and what I want to achieve.
But in the meantime, I’m going to celebrate this milestone and sign off on the brief.
What’s your dream brief?
