Chef Shokry Abouelsoud

Chef Shokry is the executive chef at Emaar Hospitality. He was with the company since 2012 at Address Dubai Mall Hotel, having moved and joined in New Zealand in Distinction Hotel Group as a Cluster Executive Chef. Possessing great knowledge, experience and courage to showcase the fine touch of Middle East Kitchen after completing his expertise, he went back where he had left his heart at Emaar Hospitality, re-opening the Address Dubai Mall Hotel leading his kitchen where he started in Emaar Hospitality. With his passion, hard-work and creativity,  a top and 1st prestige property in Egypt, Address Hotel and Golf Resort Marasi Hotel was entrusted in his capable hands from opening to consultancy, for every bit of perfection he has learned over his great love from his profession. Another milestone has opened doors for Chef Shokry, to open the only 5 star beach resort in Umm Al Quwain,  within the Emaar Properties another brand of a very modern boutique, beachfront escape Vida Beach Resort Umm Al Quwain a lifestyle brand of Emaar hospitality rise up, shines and remarks an icon in city emirates.

Chef Shokry is known for his culinary talents, offering a wide range of international flavors from all-day dining, banqueting and poolside venues. His drive and talent helps him craft authentic dishes for guests to cherish, during their stay. For his first foray into the United Arab Emirates, he worked at five-star hotels to create signature menus and culinary concepts. With his culinary experiences at some of the most international destinations including the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, New Zealand and Maldives, he has added exceptional creativity and quality for international cuisine.

Having been identified to always lead his kitchen team with desire and original flair, Chef Shokry strives to offer the best of international flavors in his culinary creations. His dedication to his ability is clear, as he is always seen experimenting with flavors and using innovative techniques.   His signature dishes have certainly elevated the guest experiences at the vibrant venues of Vida Beach Resort, Umm al Quwain.
