In honour of Emirati Women’s Day, Yas Marina Circuit hosted 15 inspiring Emirati women to compete in the inaugural Farasha Cup, a Karting competition to crown the fastest Emirati female on the track.
After two closely contested races around the Yas Kartzone powered by ADNOC track, Hanan Albadi claimed the victory. Trophies and prizes were presented to the top three competitors on the night.
Albadi commented following the victory, “It’s been a beautiful event surrounded by other impressive Emirati women. I’m delighted with the victory, but I think everyone is a winner here tonight being a part of the inaugural event. We’re excited to see how this event continues to grow and introduce new females to the sport in years to come.”
